Visualization of drainage facilities due to the amendment of the 'Water Pollution Prevention Act'
To enable easy leakage inspections, drainage systems containing harmful substances are required to be "visualized."
In June 2012, the "Water Pollution Prevention Act," aimed at preventing soil and groundwater contamination, was amended, requiring drainage systems that include chemicals to be "visualized" for leakage inspections. By using the Instant Drainage System 2, which directly connects the drainage pipe from the equipment and pumps up the wastewater, it is possible to achieve space-saving, low-cost, and relatively short-term "visualization." The drainage systems of 57 facilities at national research institutions were upgraded from a natural flow underground drainage pipe system to a pumped drainage and overhead piping system, making it easier to conduct visual inspections of the drainage equipment.
